The butterfly leaf mechanism means that only the table top extends when you put the hidden leaf into place. You’ll simply slide the tabletop all the way open, flip over the internally stored leaf, and then slide the table top closed – no locking or table moving necessary. It coordinates with the Origins Smythe sideboard to bring a cohesive look and function to any space you use for dining.
